Overview
Manually sifting through your support inbox for product feedback is a slow, error-prone process that lets valuable customer insights slip through the cracks. This template provides a powerful solution to capture user feedback in Notion automatically. It uses AI email classification for feedback to intelligently identify feature requests or bug reports from any email, summarizes them, and logs them into a structured Notion database. Keep your product roadmap fueled by real-time user input without the manual work.
1. New Feedback Email Arrives
Whenever a customer emails your designated support inbox (e.g., support@yourcompany.com
), the automation instantly kicks off. No need to watch the inbox yourself.
2. AI Classifies and Summarizes
Instead of simple keyword filtering, GenFuse AI reads and understands the email's content. It determines if it's a 'Feature Request', 'Bug Report', or just a general question. For valid feedback, it generates a concise, one-sentence summary.
3. Feedback is Logged in Notion
If the email is identified as a feature request or bug report, the AI-generated summary becomes a new entry in your "Product Feedback" Notion database. The full email content is saved alongside it for complete context, creating a perfectly structured record.
4. Your Team is Notified
Simultaneously, a notification is sent to your #product-feedback
Slack channel with the summary and a direct link to the new Notion entry. Your team can see and discuss new feedback in real-time, closing the loop instantly.
